A word from Grandma Ruth

Since this is the first Grandma Ruth posting, I shall explain. My grandmother is a character and her words should be preserved. 'Nuff said.

This morning, Grandma and I were discussing promiscuous women we had met in our life and she told me that her great-grandmother was what they used to call a "hussy" or a "rounder." She had been with many men and was married three times (REMEMBER THIS WAS THE 1800'S AND 3 MARRIAGES WAS A LOT!). And get this: all three of her husbands were named Albert.

But according to Grandma Ruth, this was a good thing. "At least when she was making love and she called 'Oh,oh,oh Aaalbert!' she didn't have to worry about calling out the wrong name!"

And that's this week's word from Grandma Ruth.

I like your Grandma Ruth. She sounds like a hip grandma to me. I think every family has at least one hussy or rounder don't they? Great post and thanks for my first laugh of the day.

Thanks everyone! You guys would all love Grandma and want to adopt her as your own. Everywhere she goes, people have always loved to talk to her. She rocks!

Hysterical.
I'm going to like keeping up with Grandma Ruth. I had a Granny like that. I remember the word "hussy" but not rounder. And then there were other words......totally unbloggable.
Peace!

Yes, Mimi, Grandma knows a lot of those words, too, (heh, heh!)
